Edwin_Dubach:
I purchased new AntiTrack. After installation, I received the message “Your subscription has expired”. According to the email, the subscription is activated and valid until April 11, 2027.
Hello @Edwin_Dubach
Are you signed in at Norton AntiTrack using the correct Norton account?
That usually means the local Norton AntiTrack installation has not yet synced correctly with the activated subscription on Norton’s servers. It is fairly common right after purchase, renewal, reinstall, or when multiple Norton accounts/emails are involved.
Here are the most effective things to check:
Verify the subscription appears in the correct Norton account
Sign in at:
Norton My Account
Under “My Subscriptions,” confirm you see:
Norton AntiTrack
Expiration date of April 11, 2027
Also verify you are signed into the AntiTrack app using that same email address.
Force the product to refresh the license
Inside Norton AntiTrack:
Open AntiTrack
Find Account / Subscription / Help section
Sign out of the Norton account
Close the app completely
Reopen it
Sign back in
Then run:
“Check for updates” if available
Or restart Windows afterward
Remove cached licensing data (if the message remains)
Sometimes the activation token gets stuck after install.
Try:
Uninstall Norton AntiTrack
Restart the computer
Download a fresh installer from your Norton account
Reinstall while signed into the correct Norton account
Check for account mismatch
A very common cause:
Purchase confirmation email went to one email address
Product installed while signed into a different Norton account
Even one character difference in the email matters.
Allow some server sync time
If activation happened very recently, Norton’s backend can occasionally take:
several minutes
sometimes a few hours
before the installed product reflects the correct status.
If the subscription already shows correctly in your Norton account portal but the software still says expired after reinstall/sign-out-sign-in, then it is likely a licensing sync issue on Norton’s side and support can fix it quickly by reattaching the entitlement.
