Hello forum, my first post!
In addition to running Norton IS 2011 (version 18.5.0.125 ) I subscribe to a server-based mail/spam filtering service (MailDefender by Inty.com). Fortunately Norton has quarantined several emails with the MyDoom virus attached, which MailDefender failed to detect. Thank you Norton!
In order to help the Support Guys at Inty.com, they have asked me to povide a raw example of an infected message. I have already run the Export option to create a .mcf file and sent that to Inty but it wasn't what they needed.
I'm well aware that it would be tempting fate to try and access an infected attachment but is there a way of complying with their request please? I think I've located the Quarantine folder on my PC [ .../SRTSP/Quarantine ] but, wisely, I'm denied access by Windows Explorer.
Can it be done, please?
Thanks for your help...
