Hello;
I have Norton Internet Security 2010 installed on 3 PCs, as is allowed by the license agreement (the same activation code is used on all 3 computers).
I need to uninstall Internet Security 2010 from one computer and then RE-INSTALL it on the SAME computer. I need to do this because I need to uninstall ALL Norton products from this one computer and then re-install Norton Internet Security 2010 on the same computer.
My question: If I uninstall Internet Security 2010 from one computer and then re-install it on the SAME computer, can I still use the same activation code? In other words, will I still be able to have Internet Security 2010 on my 3 computers using the same activation code (as allowed by the license)?
My apologies if the post is a little repetitious, but I just wanted to make sure all the details were there.
Thanks in advance to all those who take the time to reply.

Tonia,
Yaso has given you a full and correct answer to your question -- I'd just add one thing: after you download and install from the link given in that message you should run LiveUpdate at least twice with reboot in between in order to get the absolute latest version 17.7 since that upgrade is at present only available via liveupdate.
Going to remove all Norton applications prior to installing NIS 2010 afresh can be done, with a couuple of exceptions, using the Norton Removal Tool that goes deeper into the system and removes some files and information that may be left by the normal Remove Programs. You may like to list the applications you want to remove in case there are any special instructions.
This link: Symantec Norton Removal Tool. will direct you to the current Symantec Norton Removal Tool.
Thank you both for your very helpful suggestions.
I only have one follow-up question: I have the original Norton Internet Security 2010 CD which I used the first time I installed the program. Is there any reason why I would want to download the .exe file from the link Yaso provided? I am showing that I currently have version 17.7.0.12, and this was obtained simply by running Liveupdate every day. Can I not do the same thing again when I re-install the program (i.e., use the CD), or does the .exe file Yaso pointed to offer something better?
Thanks again for your time and help in this.
Kind regards,
Tonia

HI Panzer-88
The link Yaso gave you will download 17.6 which will then need to be updated, via liveupdate, to 17.7. This is a much later version than that on your CD. However, there is no reason not to use your initial CD, you will just need more updates downloaded via liveupdate and installed to bring it up to version 17.7.
Wonderful. Thank you for your clear and concise answers. Very helpful, and much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Tonia
