Activity Log not working properly...Please Help!

I have been getting sporadic activity logs for my computers. I have tried twice to uninstall and reinstall the Norton Family within the past week and a half and it will work for an hour of logging activity to an entire day of logging activity. But after that, it no longer works. I have everything turned on just as it was before all the changes with Norton Family but still not working. Last activity log was for 11/22/12. I have no idea what is wrong.
