Advanced System Care Pro and NIS 2013

I am using a program that has a couple of anti malware and a security module in it or attached to it. The program is Advanced System Care Pro and it has a fairly simple anti malware module with it and I was wondering the best way to avoid these 2 programs, NIS2013 and ASC Pro from having issues with each other. Is there a Firewall rule to make and if so how or is it all about Exclusion from scans and real time protection?

Greetings:

I am using Advanced System Care Pro v6.0 along with NiS 2013 & I have not had any compatability issues at all.  Both products complement each other.

If you have any issues, please let me know & I'll see what I can do.

Respectfully,

Shadow!

I remove Advanced System Care from systems I work on and the users learn not to install it again, it is a HOG, let alone plaving another security product with it.  That is really quite dumb, to place realtimes together.

I will continue to remove Advanced System Care from systems I work on.

At least the users for the systems I work on, don't install Advanced System Care again.

I take it you don't much care for ASC6. As for being a hog I don't find that it uses anything at all if you don't have it running ATUTO this and AUTO that. If you use it as a scanner and cleaner it uses nothing at all. As for the Malware part, that I tend to agree with you on. I also MBAM but only as a scanner w/o the real time proection.

Users that have more than one realtime malware product together should not complain about either product not working right, not detecting something or over detecting something etc. as the products are being used against good practise.  I have come across a system with 5 realtime products (or parts of) and they wondered, why things are slow, not working right or they got infected.

Place more than one realtime malware product togther, then just don't complain.
