As a newbie, I have been told that in order to eliminate the advertising and spam I have coming to my inbox, I have to go to the Norton Anti Spam and put either the email address or the domain name to block it...I thought that was the purpose of the antispam. It used to go there automatically until I recently had a trojan and the antispam got turned off. I hired someone to fix the problems and now every time I go to my inbox in both of my email (microsoft outlook and outlook express) I have this menagerie of junk. My husband's email is on google and he's fine. Please point me in the right direction. I am not a techy but think I can be instructed how to navigate around and get this figured out.
Hi: As far as Norton goes, it's just Norton 360 and renews in December 2011. How do I find out which version of Outlook I have? Forgive my lack of knowledge. Where do I go to check and see if options are still enabled so integration is turned on.
1. To check N360's version, go to Main UI>>Support link (on Top Right Corner)>>Click 'About' Link
There, you can see the version number.
2. And, by saying version of Outlook, I mean whether you use Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010? (This you can see if you go to Start>>All Programs>>Microsoft Office)
3. To exlplore the AntiSpam Settings, go to Main UI>>Click on 'Settings' Link from Top Pane>>Choose AntiSpam
