Hi, all.
I was looking at Security History on my dad's computer earlier and discovered that sometime last week he had inadvertently downloaded something called Adware.Adpeak. N 360's Auto-Protect apparently blocked this piece of adware coming from a folder called Level Quality Watcher.
I was able to locate the Level Quality Watcher folder in c drive. When I open it, I see a folder called v1.01. I then open that folder and discover that it is empty.
I'm curious. When Norton blocked the adware, did it already remove all the malicious components (which is why the folder is empty)? Also, if I delete this Level Quality Watcher folder, will that be the end of it--again, since it's empty?
By they way, a Full System Scan has found nothing. Please see screenshots below.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for replying, dickevans.
Does this mean that my dad doesn't need to go visit bleepingcomputer, since there is nothing for them remove? And when you say "clean up the remaining trash", do you mean to simply delete that empty folder and that's it? No registries to look for? Thanks.

Hi,
A qualified yes. If nothing else appears then no need to visit one of the free malware removal sites. IF there is ANY question about the machine being clean then DO visit and let one of their trained volunteer staff take a look and determine if anything needs doing.
