Hello AC5500 Your post is quite confusing to say the least so please allow me to ask:

-Is the Windows 7 machine a separate machine than the Windows 10 Pro machine?

-Regarding Windows 10 Pro (versions:-1607,1709) simultaneously, is this a separate machine where you are running two separate installed versions in a dual-boot setup?

When you say - Microsoft is saying to manually enter the registry key to get rid of the BSOD False Error.

What registry key are they referring to and for what reason? Does it have to do with the registry key required for third party antivirus to install on systems where the March updates were applied?

Or does this better describe your Windows 10 issue? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-update/cannot-update-windows-10-from-version-1607-to-1709/399bb048-b2bd-40c7-ac93-a4856d885895?page=2
