Alleged" fraudulent attempt" on my charge card

My bank contacted me alleging Norton Software was attempting what they believed was a fraudulent attempt on my charge card. The charge was blocked as no subscription was due at that time. My bank has written to Norton but is yet to receive a reply. I’m wanting Norton to investigate given potential rogue employee or impersonator. I can’t find a contact phone.

Replying to BJM : geo is Australia, No subscription due at attempted date. Not due until until approx 50 days from the date of attempted withdrawal. I had a chat session but nothing conclusive came of it. Thanks

seems like your bank fraud dept is aware
seems like your bank should cancel your current card & issue you a new card
were by bank = I’d request a new card

Wondering whether “charge card” event was a test to see if your payment details were current?

Were my Norton account = I’d cancel automatic renewal and delete my payment profile.

Norton Community urges users that do not want automatic renewal to Unsubscribe and Delete billing profile…65+ days ahead.

" No subscription due at attempted date. Not due until until approx 50 days from the date of attempted withdrawal."

Norton will create a transaction for withdrawal from your account well in advance of your renewal date.
