In trying to fix one problem I’ve caused another. In Settings, somewhere, I’ve turned on something that keeps asking me everytime there’s an access question. I have to keep hitting ‘allow’. Norton indicates Trusted. But it’s a waste of time. How do I undo this? I tried a reset but that only made them flood in. Where can I turn this ‘ask me every time’ off? Thanks.

From HOME page select Security from left hand side - Select Advanced Security on next window - scroll down to Smart Firewall & select for the next page- Select Program Control from top tabs - scroll down to find icarus.exe. Right hand will be a box with, hopefull ASK in it, click that box & a drop down list will appear - select ‘Allow’. Never had to do it but should be a permanent fix.
Many thanks. It’s not just thyat one, it’s every time. But I recognise that that’s the area to sort it, so thank you, appreciated.
@Outsiderny Click on “All outgoing and incoming connections” then BLOCK in the lower area.
Perform a file search for icarus.exe on your system. If the file location is ANYWHERE OTHER THAN in your Norton directory you are possibly looking at malware. The IP addresses shown in your screenshot trace as follows:
