After having locking problems with NIS Ver. 18.5.0.125 I uninstalled it and installed version 18.1.0.37 exactly one week ago. My settings from NIS 2010 dictated that all adware be automatically removed. After a couple of days I noticed in the History that not a single piece of adware had been reported as detected and removed. Accordingly I changed the setting to Notify Me when adware was detected. After oned week not a single piece of adware has been detected. My history file, which has been preserved, shows that NIS 2010 was removing 2-10 items of adware every day. I am still visiting the same sites and it seems very strange that I am not picking up any adware. The only threat activity shown since installing Ver 18.1.0.37 is 'Unauthorized access blocked (Access Thread Data)' and this is shown as Medium Severity and occurs at least once a day. Hence my question, am I protected with this version of NIS?
