Hi All,
I'm a newby who has just installed Norton 360 Deluxe for a couple pc's. No problem.
We also have a couple of Amazon Fire 8 notepads - does anybody know if Norton cover them too please?
I haven't found any links here so far.
Thanks

Many thanks to you all for your comments. I think I will follow Howard300cd's suggestion. That clinches it!
Reepicheep!
I have the same issue (no Norton support of my Amazon Fire 8 tablet. I recently ended a chat conversation with Norton Support and learned the following:
"Amazon Fire or even Kindle devices are not compatible with Norton. The Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD do not need antivirus or malware protection because they are not “proliferation-friendly” devices, run a custom version of Android, and cannot multi-task, and therefore are not (yet) being targeted by hackers."
When I mentioned that I had previously found, downloaded and installed a free, lite version of Norton Security the person I was chatting with confirmed that Norton did in fact provide a free (lite - my description) version and if my memory is correct, it is called Norton Mobile Security (or something very similar). As I recall, I found it on the Amazon App site.
I also asked if Norton had any plans to produce or provide a full, paid version for the Kindle/Amazon Fire tablets, I was told that as far he/she knew, no, not as far as he/she knows.
I hope this help,
Howard300cd
You need to check the Amazon app store to see if there is a version of Norton Mobile Security, NMS, for the Fire devices. The Amazon devices use a proprietary version of the Android OS and the normal NMS will not work.
Be wary of third party app stores that offer NMS, as they almost always require you allow an Android debugging mode to install. This can be a security risk in itself.
Maybe @peterweb can answer that for you.
Thanks Peter.
