Anti Spam OE Hook again

I have started getting those AntiSpam OE Hook Launcher pop-ups again.  I've entered the correct password and checked the box for Remember my credentials but the next day I get the same message again?  This is just showing up on my one email account and on one PC?  I tried the one suggested fix, click on Help > Get support and let it run.  It said it found no problems but I still get that Pop-up message.  I am using Norton Security version 22.20.5.39 and Outlook 2013 version 15.05267.1000 and Windows 10 1909 version 18363.1139 (still hesitate to try Windows 2004, even though I get a pop-up almost every night saying upgrade to 2004).  Any newer suggestions since the older ones didn't help?

Glad seeing you have a solution. Stay healthy!!

Cheers

Hello again. Another cause of this issue is known to be malformed address book entries, to see if any entry has unusual data, such as entries where you have a group, that is a member of the group, that is a member of the group. If you discover such entries try to either remove them or update them. This MS article might help as well.

Sorry for the tardy reply. Family emergency issues. I would first give this MS article a go before proceeding to something drastic for a resolution. Make sure your Outlook data files are backed up before running these repair suggestions.

I would create an backup image of your Windows installation, then get it updated to the latest version of Windows 10 which is 20H2. I haven't had any issues with the installs that were ground shakers.  You could also restore to a date just before this issue appeared.

Cheers

SoulAsylum - Since I can't seem to get the correct password, to get this OE Hook problem to go away,, is there a way to reset whatever password it is looking for?  I've tried the passwords that I use to log onto my PC's (didn't help), I tried the password that I use to change Norton's settings (didn't help) I even tried all of the passwords I use to log into my mail accounts (didn't help).  Since none of my passwords work, is there a way to reset that OE Hook?  It is getting to be a pain.

Sorry SoulAsylum, that OE Hook came back this afternoon.  I've checked my other PC, that doesn't get that OE Hook pop-up, and the settings look the same as the PC that is getting those Pop-ups?  I also seem to get more spam since I turned on Client Integration?  Outlook, integrate with Outlook contact list, and feedback are all checked green?  Still trying.

Thanks for the post back, we will wait to hear back on the results on your end.

Cheers

Hello SoulAsylum and thanks for your suggestion.  I had Register Addins checked before I ran the help screen the first time, when it found and corrected 1 problem.  Since your suggestion, I unclicked Register Addins, ran the help screen again (no problem found) and then rechecked the Register addins.  I'll have to wait for tomorrow to see if that Popup comes back up.

Hello again. Did you un-register the anti-spam add-on, restart then re-enable it again?
