I've been having this problem for three or four days now. I run liveupdate at least once a day, sometimes more frequently. Usually the update is 2MB or maybe 4MB. A few days ago suddenly its 82MB!!! I'm on dial-up. This will take months to download and my ISP will more than likely boot me off-line before I'd get done anyway. I tried running live-update anyway. I got error 8920, 211. Reading through some of the older posts that reference that error number, I checked date and time synchronization. They match. I even went to a faster computer and downloaded the intelligent updater V5.1.1.7. for 20120921.....to my thumb drive. I brought that home and ran the file from the "RUN" prompt. I still don't have the updates virus definitions and live update says 84.50MB.
What else can I do? I'm getting really frustrated with this!
