Any word on Norton protection for Comcast Customers?

I am not a MAC user and not familiar with all the operating systems etc, but I do see the Comcast customers asking on their forums when Comcst customers will receive the free Norton protection they are entitled to and have not been offered.

It seems they have not been offered the free MAC product for the last couple of MAC upgrades.  I believe it is up to Norton to place it on Comcast's servers?

I am wondering if someone from Norton  could possibly comment on the availability for the Comcast customers.

TIA,

Yank,

There is currently not a Norton solution for OSX 10.8 through the Comcast Constant Guard service.  We are investigating an update to the Mac product offering through Constant Guard and will provide more information when it is available.

Thanks for the response Carlos - but they are still asking about 10.7 - any comment on that?

I feel a post by you on the Comcast Forum would be appropriate, as I can not answer for Norton, nor Comcast.  Can you contact Comcast and get their side of the story?

The Mac customers @ Comcast deserve an answer.

The build comcast has installs and works on Lion (10.7) with the caviat that the web protection doesn't function properly.  I've tested this.
