AOL Sign in attempt prevented

Hello:   I continue to receive a message from AOL Subject Line: Sign in attempt prevented.

I did a search for the IP Location Address and its from Amazon.com

Any suggestions ?

The message contains the following:

Hi gordon,

Your account is currently not enabled to sign in from apps that do not meet modern security standards (ex. Older versions of mail and calendar apps such as Outlook). As a result, we prevented a sign in attempt to your ______ account.

Date and Time: May 25, 2020 12:09:48 PM PDT

Location: United States (IP Address: <removed>)

We strongly recommend that you switch to AOL apps such as AOL Mail on desktop and mobile and remove your account from all other less secure apps.

[Edit: Removed IP address to conform with the Participation Guidelines and Terms of Service]

By default, we block access to AOL Mail from outdated apps that could leave your account vulnerable. If we sent you an email indicating that your app is using outdated security protocols or you're unable to log in from an older app, you still have several options available to you.

Less secure apps & your Google Account
If an app or site doesn’t meet our security standards, Google might block anyone who’s trying to sign in to your account from it. Less secure apps can make it easier for hackers to get in to your account, so blocking sign-ins from these apps helps keep your account safe.

Hi Silverfox 14841:

What is the make/model of your computer, Windows operating system (if Win 10 include the version and build number - see TechSmith's How to Check Windows 10 Build), default browser, antivirus, and email program (e.g., Windows Mail, MS Outlook 365, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.).  If you use a Norton product as your antivirus please include the product name (e.g., Norton Security Deluxe, Norton 360 Premium with LifeLock Select, etc.) and current version number, which can be found in the Norton interface at Help | General Information | About.
