I’m posting this to apologize to the customer service rep that I spoke with this morning. As with many things on the Norton site I don’t find a place where I can contact customer service directly for this purpose.
My goal for quite a while has been to cancel my automatic renewal. There are a variety of reasons that I want to do this that I won’t go into other than to say that the option for doing this should be included on the website. A number of sources say that there is, but I was unsuccessful in finding any that actually worked. This left me with the only option- call customer service. By the time I navigated through the menu on my second call and chose the only option presented: “cancel my subscription” (I wanted to discontinue automatic renewal, not cancel anything but that), I was fairly frustrated. I took that frustration out on the customer service rep that I was connected to. That was wrong. To her credit she was very calm and, in the end, I was able to get done what I wanted done despite my agitated state. I have a case number and if there was a way I would like to apologize for my behavior on the call.
