SO I received an email that my NIS sub had renewed. Cool.
I right clicked on the task bar icon and "checked" for new updates.
It told me there was a software update, so I followed the instructions, and installed the newest version.
It installed fine, then I ran live update, which also seemed to install fine.
After the install, I was told to restart, which I did. Now, NIS does not load at startup, double clicking the desktop icon does nothing, and even browsing to the install directory and trying to start that way does nothing.
I have gone through chat support for 7+ hours. Their applet will not allow them to connect. I used NRT to remove, then reinstall 3 times, and as soon as I reboot after live update, same problem.
Just now, they had me manually install the newest definitions, which required a restart, and I'm having the same problem yet again.
Does anyone out there have a fix for this or should I just request a refund, as everything I have tried has gotten me nowhere.
