"Auto-Protect is processing security risk WS.Malware.2" on startup

On Startup, I'm receiving this NIS2012 message:  "Auto-Protect is processing security risk WS.Malware​.2"

I continue to see this message everytime I start my Windows 7 machine up.  I followed these instructions:

The full scan didnt find a problem to fix.  I downloaded and ran Norton Power Eraser (NPE) both in root-kit and non-root kit mode.  It found nothing and removed nothing.

 

I'm really at a loss here.  Any ideas on how I might fix this without having to resort to a full system restore / rebuild?
