Automatically deletes .EXE files.

Now one of the more annoying things I've had to deal with recently is trying to fight with my Norton 360 in order to get it to stop deleting a .exe file. After digging around, I've seen quite a few posts about "Oh just go in the quarantine area and hit recover, that's how you get the file back." Would be helpful if it was in there. No history of it being blocked, no quarantine. The folder where it is put in has been added to any and all exclusion lists I can thing of on 360 including sonar, antivirus and I've made exceptions in the firewall but it still decided to get rid of the file as soon as I download it. Now the file in question is part of a game that I have in my Steam library. Never really had an issue with it back when it was released almost a year ago but the issue started short after and Norton never did get around to resolve it. As much as I would love to send you guys the file, it no longer exists on my computer, according to all the other reports I've read into.

Now I know you guys have some gamers in the back or even working in the definitions department and I know some of them have Steam accounts as well. Someone poke one of them with a stick and have them look into it. Between Norton and McAfee, these are the two biggest issues with showing this game as a false positive. Any further in-site into how to prevent this from happening would be greatly appreciated.

The program file in question belongs to a game called Prison Architect and can be found through Steam.

  • Prison Architect.exe

All other files to my knowledge are untouched in the folder. Any attempt to download that one file through Steam is shut down or canceled immediately.
