AutoRenew without Notice

My credit card was charged for autorenewal about one month in advance of my current subscription expiring.

I do not recall receiving any advance notice of this charge and this seems too far in advance, especially without any notice.  This didn't give me any option of considering the renewal price and services in advance of the charge.

Has anyone else encountered this?  Is there any way to opt out of autorenewal or removing my credit card information without cancelling the subscription (which appears to be the case)?

Thanks

Is there any way to opt out of autorenewal or removing my credit card information without cancelling the subscription

@Foreman
Yes, there is a way to opt out of autorenewal & remove payment information without cancelling the subscription.

i think its around 2 or 3 months ahead of when your renewal notices start by email

saying more or less time to renew and or you will have a charge on xyz if auto renewal is set up ( not word for word)

telling you when your subscription will end etc...

in your norton account settings you can turn off auto renewal, update the card used etc...

if you dont use or want the auto renewal by card option than you will need to use another method to continue the service

We send a notification email before each upcoming annual renewal (usually about 50-65 days ahead), so that you are not caught off-guard. This notification email provides important information, such as the price for the next annual term, and the subscription renewal and billing dates. This helps you to adjust your protection plan according to your needs.

Once you subscribe, the payment method that you stored in your account will be charged to renew your subscription at the applicable monthly or annual renewal price unless you cancel the subscription renewal before the day on which you are due to be charged in your account or by contacting us. For annual subscriptions, we send you an email with the renewal price, the billing date, and related details before any charge occurs so that you know it is coming.

You can stop your subscription from automatically renewing any time before the day you are due to be charged by signing in to your Norton account or by contacting us. For detailed instructions, read Stop your Norton subscription from automatically renewing.
