The folder suddenly disappeared while cleaning files on your laptop.
At the same time, a folder named $AV_DDL appeared on both my C: and D: drives.
A lot of the files I was working on are now missing and can’t seem to recover.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or found a solution to this problem?
@Gayathri_R Please forward this thread to the engineering / development teams. The Norton installer for 24.xx / 25.xx has a serious conflict using whatever Avast code compiled into it. TIA

The folder that appeared, $AV_DDL is a quarantine file that was created by the Norton installer, when you either installed Norton products or an upgrade was done via Live or Automatic updates.
