Pero por qué eliminarlo? Nunca han ofrecido errores fatales ni demostrado ser incompatibles, todo lo contario. Puedes explicarme si de verdad el archivo del Live update de Norton ha venido infectado? la Ruta del AVG:

But why remove it? Never have offered proved fatal errors or inconsistent, quite the contrary. You can really tell if the file Norton Live update has been infected? Right there is oneof the many reasons you do not want to run two real-time antivirus programs. One is trying to protect you with a threat signature and the other thinks the definition is the actual threat and tries to remove it. Nothing good can come of this.
Hello Again AVG dixit after Norton Live Update: "Virus found JS / Phish",c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Datos de programa\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\N360_6.3.0.14\Definitions\WebProtectionDefs\20121030.012\Identifiers.xml" file "," C: \ WINDOWS \ Explorer.EXE "
I had the exactly same problem as him. My problem is, AVG try to quarantine the viruses and he wasn't able. Then I try to scan my computer with Norton 360 but he didnt find any viruses. I scan again my computer with AVG and he find the same viruses again. There was something weird on the info link next to the viruses names, it was a link to upgrade your avg free to the full version. Is this me or maybe its pushing people buy the full version of AVG and its just a fake viruses? Anyway, I uninstall the avg program and try scanning again my computer with Norton 360. Still no viruses... At last, there was a link on bottom after completion of the scan saying that ''if you still think there is viruses click here''. Its a program offer by norton called ''Norton Power Eraser''. I execute the progam and he still didnt find any viruses. Well, maybe Norton quality system is lower than AVG but this is not my impression. If someone can tell me if my computer have risk to be infected by this js/phish or not, I would apreciate any answer. Thanks!
My head hits the keyboard, What is amazing is users that just don't seem to get it, don't really know how to use Windows (what is the desktop) don't know what not to do with Windows or programs, and it appears, don't understand NOT to install 2 AV's together.
Its not my question, I uninstall AVG from my computer and I understand the reason why on your first reply. My question is, why is avg detect js/phish but not Norton still after I uninstall AVG. Is my computer still infected and Norton can't detect this malware or my computer is clean? Cause after few scan, Norton didn't detect anything.
I just had an online conversation with norton, they also said it was conflicting S/W. I'll lay $ to donuts, that norton has done something to cause this so they will not have AVG competition. What would you get rid of if you had to, the free AVG or the expensive norton that you still have 3 to 6 months left on your subscription???????
I have the whole transcript of the chat session saved, they say they do not know what the js/phishing is.
AVG should not be run along side other real-time security products, simple. Nor Should Norton. Two or more AV's will clash, slow your system and make your system less secure.
When people come here looking for help with ZeroAccess it's amazing how many were running multiple AV's, but if you think it's a good idea then you go ahead. Your choice.
Why after all these months that I have had both AVG and norton, why did it decide to fling up this js/phish? Right after a norton update, seems phishy to me, looks like someone is trying to get rid of a cometitor. Can we say MS!!!!!!!! get rid of the free one or keep the paid one and get you $ worth????
