Hello,
I have Norton 360 3.5.2.11 running on Windows 7 RC. If I run a backup, the current date will be reflected as the last update date but, after a period of time, it reverts to "Never Run" again. As far as I can tell, the scheduled backups are taking place. It's just a little disconcerting. Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks
Hi dfrobinson,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Try to run a manual backup for a single file/folder to any of your internal drives(C:\, D:\)- you can add a single file or folder to backup and uncheck other categories from the Backup Settings. When this backup completes, Norton 360 should recognize it and will no more prompt you for backup.
1. Right-click on your desktop, select New > Text File. Rename it as Test file.
2. Go to Backup settings, under What tab, uncheck all other files and folders.
3. Click Add a File and select the Test file from your desktop.
4. Under Where tab, select any of your internal drives(local harddrive).
5. Under When tab, select Manual Backup and click Save Settings.
6. Click Run Backup Now. Check whether the backup completes successfully and let us know the results.

Yogesh,
Thanks for your response. I followed your directions and the backup ran without any problems. I will have to wait a few days and see if the status reverts to "Never Run" like is has in the past.
Hi dfrobinson,
Just wondering if the directions Yogesh gave you solved your problem.
I am having the same issue with Norton 360 always saying the backup has "never run" when it has almost daily.
gdruncle,
Initially it did, however, I checked when I saw your post and it is back to "never run" again.
