Detailed description: I can’t complete any backup… I get a message “Failed to sync backups” . I have cleared the cloud space …I have 75 GB free
Product & version number: NORTON 360 Prem. vers 24
OS details: WINDOWS 11 24H2 pro

what version do you got if local backup dont work in the 24.11 then expect it to work in the 24.12 it is comming aboute the 15 next mounth if what they say is correckt you need to say som more info not just 24.xx i can help you els the newest is the 24.10 but they is sending a 24.11 out now there is so new it dont even has a patch note

Security History → Cloud Backup → Advanced details here … review → # files failed to back up
Advanced details = click
for example: 7 files failed to back up

When I had Backup sync failed.
My backup set was trying to back up System Volume Information
~ my Cloud Backup set tried/failed to back up System Volume Information apparently because I had opted Back up common file types only = off.
System Volume Information folder contains hidden protected operating system files.
I’ve since excluded System Volume Information folder.

Have you deleted your backup sets online?
User may opt Reset to Default…to start over…if you want.
Settings → Troubleshooting → Reset to Default
