I backup to a 2 TB USB HD with Norton 360 on Win 10. Is there a way to tell the program to overwrite the oldest files if the HD is full or do I have to Format this HD and simply start over with the empty drive?
Hello again Steve, please allow me to clarify that the FREE version of Macrium won't allow the feature I described to function. My suggestion was/is to get the application and get a feel for what it has to offer a bit. You can then get the free home trial version which will give you 14 days to play around with the sofware and decide whether it or Norton fits your needs better.

Steve, Macrium Reflect Free Version is a far better backup solution as it has the ability to do incremental images and much more. I use on all my machines.

Check this link that bjm_ provided above. https://support.norton.com/sp/en/ca/home/current/solutions/v19828933 You need to be logged into a Windows Admin account to do this. Also be patient as it can take a little time for the file lists to get populated.

Sorry....Norton Backup focus, as you know, is "cloud storage".

No
Maybe, delete files or backup sets to re-gain local drive space.
Or, start over....create manageable multiple backup set/s. Then delete oldest backup set as local drive housekeeping.
