I have the same problem and have no way to delete the existing backup set. Any help out there in Nortonland?
Hello @J_Martin
Are you signed in?
You must be signed in to your Norton product to use the Cloud Backup feature.
What happens when you click Delete Backup?
Can you delete backup from your Norton account?

bjm: You must be signed in to your Norton product to use the Cloud Backup feature.
I am registered and logged in to N360 with my name
bjm: What happens when you click Delete Backup?
Nothing happens
bjm: Can you delete backup from your Norton account?
Yes, if I log into my Norton account I can delete the cloud backup from there.
However, it remains in the application itself even after manual synchronization.

Hmm…head scratch…more bugs.
Norton needs their own public beta channel and not rely on Avast.
Hi,
Thank you for posting on the Norton Community. We are aware of this issue, and we are actively working on it. Once we have a fix, we will post an update. Thank you.
Thank you for the answer

Are thee known issues with Norton Backup? I can’t set anything. It doesn’t give me settings options. Just an alert that I need to do something with the settings but no way to go to the settings. Everywhere I look tells me to click the scroll option on the side of the backup button, but I don’t have the scroll option. others say go to settings and select backup, but I don’t have backup in my settings. There’s just this button with an alert that I can’t do anything with. Tried updating too. Still the same issue
Then you just has to wait to the patch is comming the same is problem whit the password manager it cant connect to the phone you just has to wait to norton got a patch the last patch did work on som phone but not all
Hi I’m not sure if this is the same issue and therefore whether there is already a solution or i need to wait for same patch??
I wanted to significantly change my backup set, as i had moved things around onto different drives and partitions. I had paused my current one and tried to make a few changes but was finding it tricky. So, I figured it was probably easier to just delete the old one and create a new one. I managed to delete the backup set from my online account OK yesterday, so today my online account thinks i have not yet done any backup set yet - but, on my PC, it thinks i am overdue a backup (under cloud backup it says ‘your data is at risk’ in red), however, my ONLY option next to that is ‘fix now’, which sets it straight off into recreating the original backup set that i have deleted online.
I found the Norton backup folder in windows explorer on my PC, so deleted the backup set there too, thinking that would stop it being able to run that again. However, it hasn’t and so i still only have ‘fix now’ and no usual dropdown menu allowing my to get to the backup sets area and delete it, or create a new one. Any idea how i can do this?? Thanks!

It is now 24 Days since you acknowledged this issue - When will it be fixed???
you just has to remember the 24.x still is in beta
Hello @globus5000
Really? Norton 360 has a public beta channel?
How was I opted in Norton public beta channel?
How may I opt out of Norton public beta channel?
