"Bad Image" .dll error - Trojan?

"globalroot\systemroot\system32\gasfkyeokgdpuf.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."

Yesterday my computer was behaving oddly so I went into Norton to run a scan. I got an error while Norton was open saying that Norton has an internal issue or something to that effect and that I needed to uninstall and reinstall it. I followed the steps provided and after rebooting my computer receives the above error for many different .exe files, essentially every time i click on anything it does it multiple times. Based on what I've read searching in forums here and on other sites, I'd guess I have a Trojan however I can't seem to find anyone who's had the same .dll error. When I try to start a norton scan it looks like its working and the bar is sliding across but the number of scanned files remains at zero and no progress is ever made. I've attempted to run combofix but after a little loading window completes from the install file i downloaded, dozens of those error messages pop up and once they're all closed it doesn't continue?

How can I get my system working again?

Thanks in advance for any assistance and feel free to point me towards a thread i may have missed.
