Basic dif b/tw norton360 deluxe and select

Norton keeps changing their product offerings - name and content. I now have what they are calling Norton360 deluxe w/ lifelock.  YES there is such a thing.  I am on windows7 on an old Toshiba laptop. They tell me I have lifelock coverage for $1 M. I need ro reup b/c my subscription is expiring but I have no clue what to renew TO that keeps my same protection without paying a fortune. Deluxe has dark web monitoring. Select has lifelock. Is the $70 extra just for the ability to have Norton FIX whatever goes on if something happens on the dark web? ie one is passive and the other is active?

Every time I call they are very nice but I have a hard time understanding through the accent and poor connection and they don't seem to understand my question -it is as if they are reading off a list of preprogrammed replies.

Also if I buy through a third party such as Amazon there seem to be issues with what Norton will allow you to download and the Amazon puchase is non-refundable. Some of them seem to be for first time users only.

I just want explanation in simple English that a non technical person can understand.
