Hi,
I'm new to this board, but not to norton products. Glad to see there's a community.
I just upgraded to Norton 360 V2 (from V1 where I was having email sending issues). Having issues now with the Symantec Framwork intermittently stopping unexpectantly. I've read where the add-on pack could be causing an issue and removing it is a good place to start in troubleshooting. What's the best way to remove it.... Windows Control panel Programs uninstall, or does it have it's own uninstall? I also have the latest version of the removal tool if that's a better approach.
Thx for any advice
Hi,
Forgot one important thing
- I have never had any issues
related to the Add On Pack v1 or 2 !!!

It's safe to use it's uninstaller.
You could use the NRT tool but than it will uninstalle 360 itself as well.
Thanks for the quick responses!
You're welcome.
Always happy to help
Hi suz01,
Good news to here things work again !!
N360 v2 is great security program.
Good luck !!

I’ve been having problems too and took your advice and uninstalled the Add-on Pack. I used the Add/Remove Programs instead of the Norton uninstall because it wanted to uninstall the entire Norton 360 application. Since uninstalling the Add-on Pack, I’m not having any of the weird problems such as the mouse with a mind of its own (as I posted in another thread). Hopefully that solves the problem.
Hi,
Have done the uninstall of Add On Pack both v 1 and 2 using Control panel - uninstall.
This has worked for me.
I am also using Vista Business with standalone SP1 installed.
