Best Way To Renew Norton 360

What seems to be the best way to renew Norton 360 because $79.99 seems a little steep. Renewal codes I find don't seem to work. Up untill 2012 I just bought Norton 360 from Buy Cheap Software and uninstalled/reinstalled new packages which are currently $29.99. Last year though a forum member kindly sent me a renewal code and I was able to break with that company and strictly go through Norton interface. It also preserved days remaining on previous subscription. Are these renewal codes not working? Little baffled this time around.

Bottom line is the best way to renew Norton 360 now just to purchase a download from some site and take the product key and enter it into the renewal form of old product?

In addition to Krusty13's info...You do not have to uninstall/reinstall the product when you get a new product key. You can just click on Support - Enter Product Key from the main 360 screen.

Just to clarify. I should take the new key code from the purchased download product and enter it in Norton 360 where it says, I have a key or code to enter.  There's no way I can accidentally trigger the download since I only need the key.

I remember every year they ask if I want to auto renew but I can't find it in my account so I must have shut off since there's no way of verifying.

Hi Jessi77,

From the bottom of the main pageof N 360, select the Manage Icon, sign into your Norton Management.  On the Home Tab in the upper right hand corner there is a Link for Automatic Renewal Settings.  On the next page you will be able to find the info you desire - as to if auto renewal is on or off.

<edit>  Doing as suggested will not trigger the download - but there's always a way someone will figure out to do it!:smileywink:  You should be fine!

Yank,

I would have never used that Manage Icon to view renewal unless you had mentioned it. The Norton Help FAQ suggests renewal can be accessed directly through the account at top of screen. It also seems to imply if you turned it off the auto-renewal would not be visible.

Thanks, for all the replies.
