I uninstalled the NIS 12 beta (last verison prior to release of final retail version) from my windows 7 (professional) PC usting control programs-add/remove programs. When restarting the machine, the PC boots up, then the norton downloader (yellow Icon appears) along with the installation file folder appears on the desk top and the norton install routine starts automatically. I have tried using norton removal tool in regular and safe modes to remove it, still have the same result- NIS 12 beta installs. How can I get rid of it to install the final version. No other antivirus programs on PC. PLease help!!!
