BIG problems with save and restore 2.0 using systemworks 2008 premier

I am having problems using the Systemworks 2008 Premier product.  Specifically the Save and Restore 2.0 product.

My system is :

Win XP SP#3

I have 3 hard drives. I have the drives set up so that

Drive#1----volume C- for c drive, contains only the operating system, and a couple programs that will run only on c drive

Drive#2------contains 2 volumes…..

P volume contains the programs….. when I install a new software, it goes to “P”

Q volume contains all of my data files.

Drive#3----volume M- for M drive…….is specifically where all the backups are to go.

I can back up C drive ok now, I had issues initially.

I can backup Q drive

But everytime I back up Programs, it gets thru 25% or so, then does a catastrophic failure…. It completely shuts down the computer.

I have tried to do several things to isolate the problem…..

I added a 4th hard drive in and used the copy function to copy “P” to the new drive “T”

When I tried to backup the “T” drive, it does the same thing. Drive “T” is not used at all at this point so it should be nothing to do with files being accessed simultaneously.  It also should have nothing to do with the Drive#2 as it is a different drive.

I looks like it gets to a certain file or sector or folder and blows up.  Any ideas??? I am at 15 hours and counting….
