I am beyond frustrated at this point. I have been trying for days to reach someone about my Norton invoice, and it’s impossible to get through to a real person.
I called the number listed online (833-768-7866), and it appears to have been a scam. They asked me to download software and open my bank account—only on my computer. That is completely unacceptable.
All of this stress and wasted time could have been avoided if Norton had made it easier to find a legitimate phone number for billing support. How in the world is someone supposed to contact Norton directly?
I’m honestly ready to cancel my subscription altogether unless someone can resolve this immediately. There isn’t even an option here to contact billing.
If you see an unauthorized charge on your credit card for a Norton product, you should immediately contact your financial institution to report the fraudulent transaction. They can then begin an investigation into your account. Additionally, contact Norton’s Customer Support to register the case and provide them with more information.
Contact your financial institution: Report the fraudulent charge to your bank or credit card company as soon as possible. They will likely investigate the transaction and potentially issue a refund.
Contact Norton Customer Support: Norton Support says you should also contact Norton’s customer support to register the case and provide them with information about the unauthorized charge.
Provide additional information: Norton may require additional information, such as your account details and the specific details of the unauthorized charge, to assist you further.
Check your Norton account: If possible, review your Norton account to see if there are any details about the unauthorized charge or any other suspicious activity.
Consider canceling your credit card: If you’re concerned about potential further fraudulent activity, you may consider canceling your credit card and obtaining a new one.
File a complaint with the appropriate authority: If you are not satisfied with the resolution offered by Norton or your bank, you can file a complaint with the appropriate consumer protection agency.
