"Black square" bug above Norton 360 Taskbar icon

Issue abstract: Visual issue on Taskbar, related to Norton 360

Detailed description: Every time I mouse-over the Norton 360 Taskbar icon on my HP Envy x360 laptop (Windows 11), I see a “black square” kind of “ghosting” above the Norton 360 Taskbar icon, which shows in the green “Norton 360 You are protected” pop-up field. None of my other Taskbar icons exhibit this behavior. Shouldn’t be showing that little “black square,” so I’m interested in finding out if other users are seeing the same thing.

I feel like it isn’t some kind of display memory issue or similar, because I see it right after the machine has booted into Windows upon startup. No other problems I’ve noticed.

Product & version number: Norton 360 v. 24.11.9615 (Build 24.11.9615.889)

OS details: Windows 11 Home 23H2, OS build 22631.4460, 16 GB RAM (15.7 usable), 64-bit operating system, Intel Iris Xe graphics

What is the error message you are seeing? No error message, just this peculiar little “black square” above the Norton 360 Taskbar icon. If I put my mouse cursor over the “black square,” or click on it, there is no message or pop-up. When I remove my mouse cursor from the “black square,” it vanishes.
