Blank/illegible installation windows

I am reinstalling windows 7 32 bit on an on an older laptop with a new SSD.  When installing N360 all of the windows are either blank or illegible.  See pics.  I have no idea what I'm clicking.  I recall from memory one of the check boxes is to participate in the Norton Community.  When I uncheck that box another illegible window appears with a yellow button.  When I click the yellow button (the only option), it re-checks that box and continues with the installation.  At the end of the installation when it says the device is protected, there is no ability to proceed other than to close the window.  On launch, the main Norton window is mostly blank.  After restarting, the program works but this seems like some strange behavior.  I have re-installed several times and this occurs every time.  Any idea what might be going on here? My suspicion is that the computer is underpowered (2GB ram, Atom processor) because other Win7 machines don't have this problem. I would appreciate it if we could not make this a discussion about Windows 7 and the alleged end of support.  I am well aware and am still getting updates.  Thanks
