I have noticed, and this seems to be common amongst the filtering software that I have tested, that videos are impossible to block. As long as the video is embedded into a domain that is allowed. For instance, some websites have Youtube videos. Once you have watched the video, Youtube gives the user the ability to search and find any video they have without leaving the current webpage. Also, I have not found any filtering software that can block the video search engine of Windows media player.
The problem arises that there is no way to know what video they actually watched. The video's domain is the only thing that is given.
Will there ever be a solution to this problem, or at least a way to monitor the specific web address of the video rather than the just the domain?
