I am on windows 10 build 20H2. When I install Norton™ 360 with LifeLock™ Ultimate Plus I crash. BSOD. Blue screen of death. In safemode, I uninstall norton, and reboot. Reboot is successful. I turned off "Fast Start". I have reset and then fully reimaged Windows to rule out an OS issue. I don't want to run microsoft defender without Norton. Help.
You are welcome.
Thanks for posting back.
I appreciate all the help but have concluded there must be a memory issue.
Thanks for trying to help.
Hi @J.A.S. ,
Thank you for posting in the Norton Community. In addition to trying out the steps suggested by @peterweb , could you please attach logs? I have sent you a private message with the steps. Kindly check your inbox when you get a chance. Thank you.

Yes. All updates have been done, downloaded, installed and rebooted. And the "Fast start" is turned off.
I can download and install Norton, NOT run live update and seem to be stable. If I run the updates in Norton, I blue screen again.
Check that you have updated all drivers after the reimage of your Windows installation, including all Windows updates.
BSOD code was stop error. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Only other software is Microsoft defender. I did reimage so it was wiped clean before I did last install of norton.
Is there any non Norton security software installed on this system? If so, you need to fully remove it using the removal utility for that software.
What details are there from the BSOD?
