For months now, everytime I open my itunes I get a warning box from Norton saying that the Bonjour Service is attempting to open and I can choose to Permit or Block. I always say Block but the box to do this pops up over and over and over until I minimize it until I am done using my itunes! This is sooo frustrating! I want it to be Blocked for good!
It comes up with this
Path:
c:/program.../mDNSResponder.exe
Address 66.31.97.230
Local Port 5353
Remote Address (same as above address)
Protocol UDP
Anything anyone can advise me what to do would be appreiciated....and why once I block it isn't it always blocked ?!

My version was orig. installed 2005, but I have updated it every year, including this one...
So it is Norton AntiVirus (OEM)
Version 11.0.16.4
OEM(90)
And in the past, when I was pretty sure that the Bonjour service was a legit thing and I permitted it, but the box from Symantic STILL came up everytime I open itunes..over and over and over
So I guess my question is...how can I get Norton to stop saying it's a threat and stop the **bleep** pop up box ?!!?
Allow that program next time it comes up. Also you can set the firewall rule allowed for programs like itunes
Go to <options> in Norton Internet Security 2005 main page
click on Firewall
select the first and second options <Program component monitoring> and <Program launch monitoring> select the option configure near to that, allow the itunes
Yes, I have the 2005 version installed and update on-line thru Symantic/Norton every year
Any ideas to stop the pop-ups?

Thanks to everyone that tried to help me out and responded.....though nothing you suggested worked (there is no firewall file to go to in the Norton antivirus version that I have (2005)
SO
I went to the Apple msg boards,...and since I don't file share or care about having Apple TV...this is what I did and it finally stopped the pop-ups from Norton because I disabled the Bonjour Service, which I don't even need!
I went to Admin. Tools....clicked on Services..clicked on Bonjour... at the Start-up Type choose to "disable" and at the Service Status you have to choose to "Stop",...click Apply and then go to ITunes and open...
Viola...no more Norton pop-ups
There will be one more pop-up "warning" you that Bonjour is disabled yadayada...but you can just click that away
Thank God
Thanks to Ash007 and Floating_Red for your attempts to help me. Much appreciated. You gave me some good clues on where to look
