I have been using Ghost 15 with no problem for sometime, I dont install it to windows I just boot
from the recovery disk and copy the Win 7 partition. Then I copy this to new machines (same
hardware). The latest batch of pc's I did the usual. Installed Win 7 and all programs and made a ghost copy to an external drive. I then Built the next machine and used the recovery option in ghost to copy on to the new drive. When in the ghost pe a warning comes up about different hardware even though the new pc is the same
motherboard, graphics card, hard drive etc. I ignore this and it starts the restore. At the end an
error message comes up asking for a recovery disk. (dont know what this means...) When i come to boot the restored mchine I get the start of the Win7 logo, then a freeze and then it
reboots and just loops ad infinitum. I presume this has something to do with Win 7 and the reserved partition as I never had any problem
with XP and some of the previous Win 7 machines have restored with no problem. Can any kind soul point me to a solution?
Thanks Mike
