If somebody gained access to your physical device they might well have power to do many changes that could render your system inoperable.
Physical device security is primary item number one on my list.
If you only have one Windows user account that you are using, that account defaults to an Admin account. An Admin account can do whatever the user wants to do about settings and apps.
Your first line of defense is to create a standard Windows user account that you use for your everyday computing. That way if someone did get hold of your computer, they would not have been able to delete your Norton without your Admin password.
You should also be sure that every user account has a password required to log into that computer.
