Bring Back Norton Save and Restore

I really wish Norton would bring back its backup software, Save and Restore, which they (in Microsoftspeak) deprecated many years ago. It was a superior backup program. One of my favorite features was the ability to compress an incremental backup series by saving the first backup in  the chain and only the most recent of all the intermediate file versions in the increments. The last version of Windows it worked with was XP. I've been using Acronis backup software since S&R was killed, but it's been getting glitchy recently.

So please, Norton, revive Save and Restore.

Thank you.

Have you ever looked at Paragon solutions, like Paragon Backup & Recovery? It has the same functionality as you describe.

There is even a free Community Edition with a wide scope of functionality:

If you need more, then there is the payed-for version available as part of Paragon Hard Disk Manager, which also includes Partition Manager :

There are other free programs there, like a free Paragon Partition Manager :

Good quality programs. I use their programs for years now and they really satisfy my needs.
