Browser Plug-In Disabled

Greetings,

I've read the thread here about the problem of constant messages about browser plug-in:

http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=NortonFamily&message.id=7604#M7604

The fix actions listed in the link work fine - go into tools, add ins, extensions and re-enable them.  Then restart the browser.  The problem is that my kid apparently goes to a site, or sites, that regularly crash the plug-ins and is having to re-enable them.  If they aren't re-enabled, certain content won't render.  Very annoying and tedious.   I'm probably going to need to disable them or remove NortonFamily alltogether.

Why can't your developers trap the error condition and prevent the crash?  I've written software for a living and I haven't found too many conditions that can't be trapped once you characterize the problem and code for it.

Please fix this!  I love what NortonFamily does for me, but this single issue my cause me to stop using it.

Thanks.
