I recently downloaded a trial version of Norton Family to try it out. I am trying to use a whitelist only approach to blocking so I selected all categories to be blocked. It seems to work for the most part except for browser search bars. Since the search engine category is blocked, I can't go to a search engine directly. However, entering a term in the browser search bar will bring up the search engine results page.
I am using firefox (latest version) on a windows 10 pc.
