Norton Safe Search is a mess. It’s crammed with so many sponsored links that browsing the web feels like navigating a maze blindfolded. It’s seriously confusing as hell and just makes everything harder than it needs to be.
Norton, why are you doing this?
To answer youir question directly Norton is of course doing this with Norton Safe Search as a way to increase revenue.
Quite simply I have it installed but never use it. I have always thought Google was the best search engine for me as I have used many others going back all the way to AltaVista if anyone remembers that search software.
For a while I used to use Yahoo search but then once Google took over that was it for me.
