so after searching the net and not finding anything I ran over to microsoft message boards and was reading about a tool called whocrashed. so I downloaded it. this is a program that checks your dump file that is created when you get a bluescreen of death.
On Sat 06/03/2010 5:52:06 PM your computer crashed
This was likely caused by the following module: symtdi.sys
Bugcheck code: 0x100000D1 (0xC, 0x2, 0x0, 0xB6CA9FA9)
Error: Unknown
Dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini030610-01.dmp
file path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\NIS\1105000.07F\SYMTDI.SYS
product: Symantec Security Drivers
company: Symantec Corporation
description: Network Dispatch Driver
and now I remember when this happend I had just ran NIS update program and then Bluescreen of death.
Looks like some left overs from NIS 2009...
Not really sure what to make out of that or do. it's only happen once so far.
Anyone?-I've already ran memory checkers and sfc /scannow, virus scans. everything seems ok.
