I have just installed a fresh copy of Norton 360 Deluxe on Windows 11 23H2 and the system started showing BSOD error KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE, mostly during startup or a few seconds later.
Started in SAFE MODE, uninstalled Norton, BSOD disappears.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
how did you remove it did you remember to use the norton removel tool
@n_roteglia Hello. This BSOD isn’t necessarily caused by Norton or other antiviral software and can be traced to a number of things actually. Malware present on the system that is hidden, drivers, memory issues and other hardware can also cause it. Please follow the guide in the article linked below to help determine what may be causing it.

First attempt just uninstalled, and instability persisted, then read a few posts and used the removal tool. The problem is that I want to use Norton, not least because I have moths left on my subscription.
Follow all the steps in the article if you would. Make sure all Windows updates that are offered are installed. Update your hardware drivers using drivers from the OEM sites. Perform all the commands that will check your OS for issues and allow it to be corrected. Then reinstall Norton, download it from your Norton account subscriptions and install it from there.
