BT Broadband doesn't work with Norton VPN

I can’t use Norton VPN as it disrupts the connection through the BT wifi router and then doesn’t allow internet access. BT claim it is the Norton VPN that is the issue. Other devices without Norton VPN continue to work but as soon as I tunr on the VPN I can no longer gain access to the internet.

Hello. On the old forums there were threads where this same issue happened with BT customers using the Norton VPN. In those cases the recommendation was create a support ticket with BT since they are blocking the VPN usage either directly or indirectly via some settings in their portal hardware settings.
