I've been having intermittent issues with connecting to remote hosts.
What the dialup connection to the remote host fails, pcAnywhere connects and stops responding and only Authenticating is displayed in the DETAILS panel.
What i have found is that if I have anything in my Windows clipboard is causing this issue.
I discovered this when I would do a screen capture(Alt-Prt sc) in Window and paste it in MSPAINT.
Within a minute or so, I would lose connection and pcAnywhere would no longer function.
I've found that if I now clear my Windows clipboard prior to dialing up, I have 100% sucess rate at connections.
If I check my clipboard, using the WinXP clipboard, and see that I have text or data in it and try to use pcAnywhere, my connection will fail/halt.
OS: Windows 7 SP1

The WinXP clipboad can be used in Windows 7 by copying System32\clipbrd.exe to your Windows 7 PC.
*This was also occurring prior to performing the Windows 7 SP1 update.
