Call of Duty MW3 Packet Burst/Extrapolation Errors Since Upgrade previous N360 to v24. Multiplayer is unplayable due to lag/glitching due to “Packet Burst” and “Extrapolation” errors.This started AFTER I upgraded to latest N360 Premium v24 since my previous version subscription expired.
Finally, I found a comment that said to open up Norton Settings on your PC, and turn off “Game Optimizer” mode. This version does NOT have that option.
Running windows 10 and nothing else has changed other than the N360 software.
Even get lag when starting Edge sometimes it just hangs.

And you’ve removed v24 to confirm?

It’s definitely v24. I luckily had old version installer still available and used that and it picked up my new subscription. Totally uninstalled v24, installed old made sure active and tested COD MW3. Problem solved. Last Norton product I am buying and I’ve been a long time (decades) user. Heck the product v24 couldn’t even launch Edge to access the Norton account it would hang.
The only way to do this is to turn off Automatic LiveUpdates. But doing that will also stop your getting any local malware definition updates. Leaving your system vulnerable to zero day exploits.
Does this fix issues I’ve had or am I a beta tester I’ really hestitant to try this v24.x because this is the first of a few PCs I need to upgrade and this hasn’t started out well at all and the v22 I am using is STABLE.
